Indie Talk Artist Spotlight: Tamba
Indie Talk is the podcast where we talk to emerging independent artists from all over the world in every genre to help you discover great music that you won't find on mainstream radio! Every segment is filled with candid conversation and great music. In this episode of Indie Talk, we take a deep dive into the life and music of the eclectic hip-hop artist Tamba.
Born in Sierra Leone, West Africa. Tamba is the second born son to Rev. Fatoma and Kumba Kpakiwa. More than just a name, though, Tamba means 'second-born son' in Kono. Kono is the tribe, the place, the people that Tamba belongs to. Due to a 10 year civil war, Tamba fled his birth country for America at the age of 7. It was in America that Tamba discovered Hip-Hop.
